Hello, I'm Chad Ingraham,
professional photographer and cinematographer on a lifelong mission to inspire my viewers through the infinite power of visual storytelling. Above all, my vision is to breathe life into people’s personal stories, through their every trial and triumph, in hopes of evoking a sense of unshakable solidarity and compassion in others. In everything that I do, it is my aspiration to instigate a ripple effect of positive change that continues to shape the future for generations to come by creating a more empathetic world today.
Over the course of a decade, I have gained extensive industry experience, with a specialty in portrait photography. To date, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph some of China’s most prominent public figures, including Jack Ma (my claim to fame) whose picture was featured on the cover of Forbes Magazine and Yao Ming for the Wall Street Journal.
My affinity for the arts (specifically photography) began at the age of 14, when my father gifted me his old camera that was always just out of reach in the closet. From that point forward, cameras and I have been inseparable.
A decade-long resident of Shanghai, China, I recently made the decision to relocate to Montreal, Canada in order to expand my creative horizons. However, I have my sights set on traveling across Asia to network and cover stories that celebrate diversity. To follow my artistic journey, feel free to check me out on Instagram and Twitter (@chadingraham).
Outside of capturing unique stories through a camera lens, I’m an avid outdoorsman. Mountain climbing and camping especially help me recharge my batteries so I can get back into the creative game more refreshed than ever. Mother Nature really is the ultimate artist’s muse!
